June 18, 19, & 20 2024

Driving down the historic Auto Tour Route of Lewis and Clark, we made our way towards Lakeside, Montana.

Arriving at Flathead Harbor Resort RV Park just as the rain started.  It was a nice relaxing evening after a long day.

The next day after checking out the Marina we did some exploring in Somer, MT - Population 1,037 (2022) Somer is located on the north shore of Flathead Lake.

The morning filled some of our time with a lovely bike ride on the Historical Trail Rails - Trails of Northwest Montana.  It was beautiful and the perfect way to start our day. The beautiful purple flowers were flourishing all over.  They are Dame Rocket also known as Mother of the Evening, Sweet Rocket, Dame Violet, Summer Lilac & Wild Phlox.

Fun Facts about Flathead Lake - Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48 states, with over 200 square miles of water and 185 miles of shoreline.

After another delicious dinner, we took a leisurely stroll over to Flathead Marina, just across the highway from our RV park. It was a beautiful evening filled with heartwarming conversations and the joy of meeting new people.

Today, June 20, we kicked off our morning with another refreshing bike ride. We ran some errands and made sure to stock up on a few things before our adventure takes us across the border into Canada tomorrow.

For lunch, we treated ourselves to a mouthwatering meal at DeSoto GrillThe feast included salmon,  brisket, elk, creamy potato salad, crunchy Cajun coleslaw, hearty collard greens, and delicious cornbread. Needless to say, we ended up bringing a substantial portion of it home to enjoy another day.

In the higher elevation and drier weather, my nose felt extremely dry and uncomfortable. Using organic coconut oil and Geranium essential oil provided soothing relief and helped heal the inside of my nose.

Meet Rita C Karydas

My journey into Health & Wellness began in 1976 when I grew tired of relying on over-the-counter and prescription medications that wasn’t helping me. This prompted me to explore yoga, meditation, organic gardening, food co-ops, and herbal remedies.

Nearly a decade later, I discovered the world of essential oils.

Throughout my journey, I have hosted four Herb and Health Festivals, both attended and taught numerous classes and conferences, owned a health food store, and launched a company creating and distributing herbal and essential oil-infused products for beauty and well-being. In 1999, I became a Certified Yoga Instructor.

In 2000, I became a Young Living customer, which eventually led me to become a Brand Partner. This gave me the opportunity to share my passion for health and wellness, along with movement, environmental health, breath work, and the transformative power of aroma.

In 2018, I was introduced to Aroma Freedom techniques. As I delved deeper into these practices, coupled with the powerful scents of essential oils, I noticed a significant shift in my awareness. This allowed me to release negative thoughts, old behaviors, and patterns, leading to a more uplifting and fulfilling life.

In 2020, I became a Certified Aroma Freedom Practitioner. My greatest joy is helping women who are ready to unleash their true potential and master all areas of their lives.
